I am a Computer Science Specialist holding BSc, MSc, PhD in Computer Science. I am a lecturer in computer science in the University of Buckingham/Applied computing department. I am conducting courses in different computer science fields; Programming, Imaging Techniques, Multimedia, Networking, Web Technologies. My research is in image processing, and in more specific in wavelet transformation and studying the statistical property of the wavelet sub-bands applied on images/videos. With images, wavelet sub-bands statistical properties have been used in face detection, features extracting, noise reduction in wavelet sub-bands, background detection/removal, In videos same property has been developed and used in video compression/indexing.
